Olá Glowupers!
Ah, the struggle of technology! I had just finished writing this entire blog post, and somehow, everything got deleted. It’s frustrating, but I won’t let it get me down—just another lesson learned for next time. Despite this hiccup, I’m proud to say that today has been a victory!
I started my day at 4 AM, getting up early to tackle some work. By 6 AM, I was lacing up my sneakers and heading out the door for my morning walk. My walk lasts about 35-40 minutes, and during that time, I listen to worship songs and soak in the beautiful morning sun. There’s something incredibly energizing about starting the day like this. I highly recommend it—it fills you with such positive energy and sets the tone for the rest of the day.
I’m truly grateful for this routine and how it’s become a cornerstone of my daily life. The more I embrace these healthy habits, the more I feel that God is restoring everything in my life beautifully, putting everything in its rightful place. Only He could do that!
After my walk, I headed to the gym with my husband, where we did a full-body workout. There’s nothing like the feeling of having accomplished so much before 8:30 AM—walked, worked, dropped my son off at school, and trained! It’s such a satisfying feeling, knowing that I’ve already ticked off so many things from my list.
This morning also brought some great news. I stepped on the scale for my daily weigh-in and was thrilled to see that I’ve lost 3 pounds. I’m now at 129.6 pounds, and I couldn’t be happier. It’s been over 10 years since I last weighed 130 pounds (excluding pregnancy), so this is a significant milestone for me. It’s a reminder that the hard work I’m putting in is paying off.
Today, I didn’t cook much or eat a lot because I was deep in work mode, focusing on building a website. As a web designer, everything I do revolves around the digital world, and these past four years, while I was still getting this blog off the ground, have definitely honed my skills. So, at least I know those years were useful for something!
Even though I’m still slightly annoyed about losing my original post, I’m choosing to stay strong. It’s all part of the journey, and every day is an opportunity to learn and grow.
Reflecting on Today’s Victories
Today wasn’t just about what I did physically, but also about the mental and spiritual victories. Starting the day with intention and gratitude has made a huge difference in my life. I’m learning to appreciate the small wins, like getting up early, completing my walk, and making progress in my fitness journey. These are the things that keep me motivated and focused on my Glow Up journey.
I also want to acknowledge how much God’s presence has been guiding me. There’s a certain peace that comes from knowing that He’s in control, even when things don’t go exactly as planned—like losing a blog post! It’s these little reminders that keep me grounded and remind me of the bigger picture.
Looking Ahead
As I continue this journey, I’m excited to see where it leads. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities, and I’m committed to staying on this path of self-improvement. Whether it’s through my fitness routine, my work, or my spiritual growth, I’m determined to keep pushing forward.
So, Glowupers, if you’re ever feeling frustrated or like you’ve hit a roadblock, remember that it’s all part of the process. Stay strong, stay focused, and keep moving forward. We’re in this together, and I’m so grateful to have this community to share my journey with.
Until next time, stay strong and keep glowing up!
