Hello, Glowupers!
Yesterday, I didn’t do any self-care, which is why I didn’t come here to write. I was still feeling really sore, bloated, and in pain due to my period. But today, I woke up feeling much better. I got up early and went for my morning walk—oh my gosh, I loved it so much! It’s incredible how good it feels to walk at 6 a.m., with the perfect sunrise and the day just beginning. I walked for 40 minutes, and when I got home, it felt like I hadn’t even been out yet! It’s indescribable how much walking outdoors lifts my spirits, especially when I’m listening to my worship songs. It’s just perfect!
Right after my walk, I helped my son with his homework, and he did so well, especially considering it was his first time having homework since he had just started kindergarten. He’s attending a Catholic school, part of the church we go to, and he’s loving it. I’m so happy that he’s on the right path.
I forgot to mention that as soon as I woke up (I like to get up before everyone else in the house so I can do my routines without any rush or noise, haha!), I did my stretch/yoga exercises. It’s amazing to stretch my body first thing in the morning; every time I do it, I feel so relaxed and ready to start my day. I usually do these exercises while my coffee is brewing at around 4 a.m.!
After helping my son with his homework, we dropped him off at school and headed straight to the gym. Today, I worked on my upper body, and it was great too. I’m impressed with how maturity has made me enjoy physical exercise more—something I didn’t appreciate as much when I was younger.
After the gym, I got to work on my digital agency, working on a website for a corporate client. That’s it for today! We’ll be traveling to Los Angeles soon—I always visit my sister and her family there. I lived in L.A. for 9 years, where I met my husband, so I have a lot of memories and know the city well. It’s Labor Day weekend, and my son won’t have school on Friday and Monday, so we’re taking the opportunity to travel.
Thank you, Glowupers, for joining me on this journey. Stay blessed, and I’ll catch up with you in the next post!
