Hello, Glowupers! We’re here logging another day, and today marks the third day of my Glow Up project. I woke up early, all excited for my morning walk, but I quickly ran into a little problem: my hair was completely messy! I kept thinking about how I was going to drop my son off at school looking like that, and honestly, I ended up skipping the walk. But that’s okay—tomorrow is a new day.
I decided to weigh myself, and I must admit it wasn’t easy to see the number on the scale. I’m at 132.6 pounds, and I’m also close to my period, which always makes the weight go up a bit. It was one of those moments of despair that even made me lose my appetite right away. But I took a deep breath and kept going.
I decided to go to the gym with my husband. He works out at Planet Fitness, which is a very affordable gym here in the United States. The monthly fee is super cheap, like $10, but he has a slightly higher plan that costs around $22.95, and it allows him to bring guests anytime. So, I’ve been going with him, and he’s really happy to have company. Today, I worked on my lower body, and then I went home to start my daily tasks.
Part of my daily commitment has been reading a bit of the Bible. I’ll share more with you about this habit and how it has transformed my life since I started practicing it regularly. It has been a source of peace and reflection that helps me face each day with more serenity.
Regarding my wedding preparations, I’ve been thinking about getting a nose job and replacing the silicone in my breasts to lift them. But after watching interviews with celebrities and other people, I started feeling uneasy about how far these insecurities can take us. Instead of undergoing plastic surgeries and injections, I’ve decided that I want to accept myself more and more just as I am. Of course, I’ll keep taking care of my health, but without letting myself be influenced by what the world dictates.
I know it’s not easy, but I ask God to give me the grace to love and accept myself exactly as I am, every day I have left here. And I hope this journey of acceptance and self-care can inspire you as well.
Thank you for following along on another day of my Glow Up. Let’s keep growing and glowing together, day by day!
